L A È S S Weddings & Events attaches great importance to your privacy. Therefore, we will process and use your data in a secure manner, in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation. In this privacy statement, we explain the data we collect from you and why we do so. You can also find information about your rights concerning this processing.

Article 1 Who we are
L A È S S Weddings & Events is a sole proprietorship, located at Teakhout 180, (1507 EM) Zaandam. We are registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 73353094.
We are the data controller of your personal data.
Article 2 What data we use
Here, you can find an overview of the data we process from you, the reasons for processing, the legal basis for processing, and the retention period for these data.
We process your name, address, place of residence, email, telephone number, and other data that are necessary to perform our services optimally for you. This may include your gender, date and place of birth, wedding date, sexual preference, religion, ethnic origin, any health data including allergies and/or physical limitations, budget, and photos. We use this data to ensure your satisfaction as a customer during the term of our agreement. We retain this data for 7 years after the end of the agreement.
We use a portfolio on our website and social media channels to showcase previous work to potential clients. This includes processing photos and visual material we have obtained, as well as your name, social media account, and the names of content creators, with your consent when entering into the agreement. We retain this content indefinitely in our archive, unless you request its removal.
For invoicing and financial administration, we process your (company) name, relevant Chamber of Commerce details, billing address, customer number, email, telephone number, payment details, and outstanding balance.
Without this information, we cannot process your payment. According to a legal obligation of the Tax and Customs Administration, we are required to retain this data for 7 years. After this period, we will delete or anonymize your data.
In the event of a complaint about our services, we will process your name, email, telephone number, order number, and the content of and communication regarding the complaint to find the best possible solution for you. We use this data to execute the agreement optimally. We will delete data related to complaints 1 year after resolution.
We have a legitimate interest in using certain personal data for marketing purposes. We process your name and email for direct marketing. We will delete this data once you unsubscribe from our newsletter or indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted by us.
To enable and optimize this website, we use analytics services. We have a legitimate interest in using your browsing behavior and related data to analyze and, if necessary, improve our service. We will track your use of our website with Google Analytics, and we are subject to the retention periods of this third party.
These services use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information sent to your browser when you visit our website, which are then stored on the hard drive or in the memory of the device you use to access our website. These cookies will not damage your devices. You can read more about this in our cookie statement.
When you wish to contact us through the website, we ask for your name and email. Optionally, you can provide your telephone number as well. By submitting the contact form, this information becomes visible to us. We will delete the data from a submitted contact form once the contact request has been completed, unless it results in an agreement.
To enable the posting of reviews about our services, we process your name, any photos or videos, and the content of your message. By posting your review, this data becomes visible to us. We may post reviews about our services on our website and social media for commercial purposes. We will remove them when they no longer represent our service or upon your request for removal.
Article 3 How We obtain this data
We have obtained the above data from you as a customer, contact person, or website visitor, as you provided this information to us. Additionally, we may have obtained your data from one of the suppliers with whom we collaborate or when you (as a guest) are present at a wedding or event organized by us.
We make every effort to ensure that we collect data about minors only with parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data from a minor without such consent, please contact us.
Article 4 Your rights regarding this data
The General Data Protection Regulation grants you certain rights regarding the personal data that we process on your behalf.
- Access - You can request access to your data at any time.
- Rectification - If you wish to have your data corrected, improved, supplemented, restricted, or deleted based on access, you can submit a request for this purpose.
- Objection - You can object to the processing of your data based on a balancing of interests.
- Data Portability - If you wish to transfer your data to another service provider, we will provide your data in a structured and commonly used format that is accessible through standard digital systems.
- Withdrawal - If we have processed data based on your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. However, please note that this may have implications for the services we can provide to you.
To exercise your rights, you can send a request, accompanied by a copy of your identification document (with the social security number [BSN] and passport photo redacted), to info@laessweddingsandevents.nl. We will assess your request as soon as possible, but no later than 30 calendar days. If we are unable to fulfill your request, we will inform you of the reasons for rejecting it.
Article 5 Recipients of Your Data
We will not disclose your data to third parties unless it is necessary for business operations or required by a legal obligation. Your data may be disclosed to processors, parties involved in the execution of our agreement, and external advisors for the purpose of performing the agreement. We enter into data processing agreements with these third parties to protect your privacy optimally. We will not sell your data to third parties.

We recommend that you regularly consult this privacy statement, as we may make changes to the policy. L A È S S Weddings & Events vindt uw privacy erg belangrijk. Wij zullen uw gegevens dan ook op een veilige manier verwerken en gebruiken, geheel volgens de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming. In deze privacyverklaring leggen wij aan u uit welke gegevens wij van u verzamelen en waarom wij dit doen. Ook kunt u in deze verklaring lezen wat uw rechten met betrekking tot deze verwerking zijn. Artikel 1 Wie zijn wij?
L A È S S Weddings & Events is een eenmanszaak, gevestigd te (1507 EM) Zaandam aan Teakhout 180. Wij staan ingeschreven in het handelsregister van de Kamer van Koophandel onder nummer 73353094. Wij zijn de verwerkingsverantwoordelijke van uw persoonsgegevens.
Artikel 2 Welke gegevens gebruiken wij?
Hier kunt u een overzicht vinden van de gegevens die wij van u verwerken, waarom wij dit doen, welke juridische grondslag wij hebben om deze gegevens van u te mogen verwerken en hoe lang wij deze gegevens zullen bewaren.
Wij verwerken uw naam, adres, woonplaats, e-mail, telefoonnummer en andere gegevens die van belang zijn om onze werkzaamheden optimaal voor u uit te kunnen voeren. U kunt hierbij denken aan uw geslacht, geboortedatum- en plaats, trouwdatum, seksuele voorkeur, godsdienst, ethnische afkomst, eventuele gezondheidsgegevens, waaronder allergieën en/of lichamelijke beperkingen, budget en foto’s. Wij gebruiken deze gegevens om van u een tevreden klant te maken gedurende de looptijd van onze overeenkomst. Wij bewaren deze gegevens tot 7 jaar na het einde van de overeenkomst.
Wij maken gebruik van een portfolio op onze website en social media kanalen om eerder werk aan potentiële klanten te laten zien. Wij verwerken hierin foto’s en beeldmateriaal dat wij hebben verkregen en uw naam en social media account en de namen van de makers van de content wanneer hier met het aangaan van de overeenkomst toestemming voor is gegeven. Wij bewaren deze content onbeperkt in ons archief, tenzij u een verzoek doet tot verwijdering.
Voor facturatie en de financiële administratie verwerken wij uw (bedrijfs)naam met eventueel bijbehorende Kamer van Koophandelgegevens, factuuradres, klantnummer, e-mail, telefoonnummer, betaalgegevens en openstaande saldo. Zonder deze gegevens kunnen wij uw betaling niet verwerken. Volgens een wettelijke verplichting van de Belastingdienst dienen wij deze gegevens 7 jaar te bewaren. Na deze periode zullen wij deze gegevens van u verwijderen dan wel anonimiseren.
Mocht u onverhoopt een klacht hebben over onze dienstverlening, zullen wij uw naam, e-mail, telefoonnummer, bestelnummer en de inhoud van en communicatie omtrent deze klacht verwerken om tot een zo goed mogelijke oplossing voor u te kunnen komen. Deze gegevens gebruiken wij voor een optimale uitvoering van de overeenkomst. Wij zullen gegevens met betrekking tot klachten 1 jaar na afhandeling verwijderen.
Wij hebben een commercieel belang om enkele persoonsgegevens van u te gebruiken voor marketingdoeleinden. Wij verwerken uw naam en e-mail voor direct marketing. Wij zullen deze gegevens verwijderen zodra u zich uitschrijft van onze nieuwsbrief of aangeeft niet meer door ons benaderd te willen worden.
Om deze website mogelijk te maken en te optimaliseren gebruiken wij analytics diensten. Wij hebben een commercieel belang om uw surfgedrag en daarmee samenhangende gegevens te gebruiken om onze service te analyseren en waar nodig te verbeteren. Wij zullen uw gebruik van onze website tracken met Google Analytics en zijn hierbij aan de bewaartermijnen van deze derde partij gebonden.
Deze diensten maken gebruik van cookies. Cookies zijn kleine stukjes informatie die bij het bezoek van onze website worden meegestuurd aan uw browser en vervolgens op de harde schijf of in het geheugen van het apparaat waarmee u onze website bezoekt worden opgeslagen. Wanneer u contact met ons op wilt nemen via de website, vragen wij om uw naam en e-mail. Optioneel kunt u ook uw telefoonnummer invullen. Met het versturen van het contactformulier worden deze gegevens zichtbaar voor ons. De gegevens van een verzonden contactformulier verwijderen wij zodra de contactvraag is afgerond, tenzij hier een overeenkomst uit voortvloeit.
Om het plaatsen van recensies over onze diensten mogelijk te maken, verwerken wij uw naam, eventuele foto of video en inhoud van jouw bericht. Met het plaatsen van jouw recensie worden deze gegevens zichtbaar voor ons. Recensies over onze diensten kunnen wij op onze website en social media plaatsen uit commercieel belang. Wij verwijderen deze zodra ze niet meer representatief zijn voor onze dienstverlening of u een verzoek doet tot verwijdering.
Artikel 3 Hoe verkrijgen wij deze gegevens?
Bovenstaande gegevens hebben wij van u als klant, contactpersoon of websitebezoeker verkregen, omdat u deze gegevens aan ons heeft verstrekt. Daarnaast kan het zijn dat wij uw gegevens hebben verkregen via een van de leveranciers waar wij mee samenwerken, of wanneer u (als gast) aanwezig bent op een door ons georganiseerde bruiloft of evenement.
Wij doen ons uiterste best ervoor te zorgen dat er enkel gegevens over minderjarigen worden verzameld met ouderlijke toestemming. Als u ervan overtuigd bent dat wij zonder die toestemming persoonlijke gegevens hebben verzameld van een minderjarige, neem dan contact op.
Artikel 4 Welke rechten heeft u met betrekking tot deze gegevens?
De Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming heeft u een aantal rechten gegeven met betrekking tot de persoonsgegevens die u door ons laat verwerken.
1. Inzage - U kunt te allen tijde een verzoek doen bij ons om uw gegevens in te zien.
2. Wijziging - Als u op basis van inzage uw gegevens aan wilt laten passen, laten verbeteren, aanvullen, afschermen of verwijderen, kunt u hiertoe een verzoek indienen.
3. Bezwaar - Tegen de verwerking van uw gegevens gebaseerd op een belangenafweging kunt u bezwaar maken.
4. Gegevensoverdracht - Mocht u uw gegevens bij een andere aanbieder onder willen brengen, zullen wij uw gegevens verstrekken in een gestructureerde en gangbare vorm die door gangbare digitale systemen te openen is.
5. Intrekking - Wanneer wij gegevens hebben verwerkt op basis van uw expliciete toestemming, heeft u het recht deze toestemming in te trekken. Dit kan wel gevolgen hebben voor de diensten die wij u kunnen leveren.
Om gebruik te maken van uw rechten kunt u een verzoek sturen, voorzien van een kopie van uw identiteitsbewijs (met afgeschermd BSN en pasfoto), naar info@laessweddingsandevents.nl. Wij zullen uw verzoek zo snel mogelijk, maar uiterlijk binnen 30 kalenderdagen, beoordelen. Wanneer wij niet aan uw verzoek kunnen voldoen, zullen wij u laten weten waarom wij uw verzoek afwijzen.
Artikel 5 Wie ontvangen uw gegevens?
Wij zullen je gegevens niet verstrekken aan derde partijen, tenzij dit nodig is voor de bedrijfsvoering of vanuit een wettelijke verplichting vereist is. Uw gegevens kunnen voor uitvoering van de overeenkomst worden doorgegeven aan verwerkers, partijen betrokken bij de uitvoering van onze overeenkomst en externe adviseurs. Wij sluiten met deze derde partijen verwerkersovereenkomsten om uw privacy optimaal te beschermen. Wij zullen uw gegevens niet doorverkopen aan derden.
Artikel 6 Slotbepalingen
Wij raden u aan deze privacyverklaring regelmatig te raadplegen, omdat wij wijzigingen in het beleid kunnen aanbrengen. Als u vragen heeft over deze verklaring of de wijze waarop wij uw gegevens gebruiken, kunt u een e-mail sturen naar info@laessweddingsandevents.nl. Als u een klacht heeft over de manier waarop wij met uw gegevens omgaan kunt u ons dat ook laten weten. Daarnaast kunt u contact opnemen met de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
